Raising the Maypole
The men will lead the maypole parade with children in pursuit, and final raising.
A celebration rooted in the turning of the seasons and the enduring spirit of community.
Long ago, when people lived more closely with the rhythms of the earth, Midsummer marked the height of the sun’s power and the warmth of the growing season. It was a time to gather, to share food and stories, to dance, and to give thanks for the light and life all around. Today, we continue those traditions: lighting bonfires, weaving flower crowns, enjoying music, and simply being together under the open sky. Though much has changed, the heart of this festival remains the same—a joyful pause to honor nature, connection, and the bright promise of summer.
We’ve put together a simple registration form to help streamline our event. This form will allow you to provide your party details and select food and beverage to bring. Thank you for accepting our invitation, and we look forward to spending our favorite day of Summer with you.
